Product Brief

Flexcomm TinaGarden-EB is a hardware platform designed for Wireless Gigabits VPN Router with BT download function aiming at SOHO/SME market. It is based on latest Cortina Systems CS3512 Gigabit Ethernet Network Processor with 400MIPS ARM9 core. TinaGarden-EB supports 1 GE WAN and 4 GE LAN. Up to 2 miniPCI slots allow WLAN or Mobile Mesh network access including 802.11n with enhanced transmitting rate via 802 11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi cards; especially, with PoE/PoE Plus module on the platform, the power adapter can be removed, this fulfils the demand for increasing outdoor deployment scenarios. These two up to date technologies make it become a much more attractive and integrated gateway platform.


TinaGarden-EB provides 2 SATA interfaces and 2 USB 2.0 HOST ports, which enable connection to up to 4 storage devices including the internal HDD and external USB HDD or USB Flash. Therefore TinaGarden-EB is very suitable for high capacity file/media server offering data backup for the enterprise or HD movies entertainment for home.


As a reference platform, abundant interface will help the customer to extend their own functions without any engineering cost. For instance, it may drive a TFT-LCD to offer video conference or connect a 3G/WiMAX USB dongles to speed up the mobile Internet access. Besides, Flexcomm would like to support customer development to expedite customized design and to maximum customers’ benefit.
